To keep our community focused on our various social media sites, we ask that the public follow our posting guidelines. The purpose of our social media sites are to present matters of public interest related to SLO County APCD business and relevant issues. For an urgent issue, please contact the appropriate authority for assistance. We do not allow graphic, illegal, obscene, explicit, or discriminatory comments. The SLO County APCD reserves the right to remove submissions that contain:

• Vulgar language or sexually explicit comments;
• Personal attacks of any kind;
• Offensive comments that target SLO County APCD employees, Board members, contractors, agents, or programs;
• Content or comments that promote, foster or perpetuate discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, genetics, status with regard to public assistance, national origin, physical or intellectual disability or sexual orientation;
• Spam or links to other sites the SLO County APCD deems inappropriate;
• Advocating illegal activity;
• Promotion of commercial or other services, products or political organizations;
• Personal and/or identifiable medical information;
• Information that may compromise the safety, security or proceedings of public systems or any criminal civil investigations;
• Comments that are clearly off topic in response to a particular post;
• Anything that may infringe on copyrights or trademarks; and,
• Comments or content that violate the social networking site terms of service.

Our social media pages are “limited” forums and are moderated and all comments are reviewed during normal business hours. The content of the forums, including your comments, may be subject to the California Public Records Act and may be retained as public record.

You participate in our forums at your own risk. We will never ask for your personal information in this forum. Do not post any sensitive or personal information here, including your address or telephone number. In addition, ensure that your web browser and antivirus software is up to date.
