SB 272 - California Public Records Act: Local Agencies: Inventory

On October 11, 2015, Governor Brown signed SB 272 into law. This bill requires local agencies to publish a list of their “enterprise” systems. These are systems that are used across multiple departments or that contain information collected about the public and are systems that serve as original sources of data within an agency.

Certain systems are exempt from disclosure, including:

• Emergency services systems
• Information technology security
• Building access
• Mechanical controls

The District's "enterprise" systems include the following:
