Air Quality Specialist - Planning

The San Luis Obispo County APCD is seeking a highly motivated and team-oriented individual to join our Planning and Grants Team. This team’s goal is to help our community by implementing emission reduction grants and efficient land use/transportation strategies. This position performs a variety of office and occasional field work. Tasks will include the review and administration of grant projects under varying state guidelines, review of new land use projects, and the development of land use/transportation policy. Other tasks will include outreach events and public communication, coordination with other divisions and agencies, and participation in steering and technical advisory committees. The Air Quality Specialist II, and III positions are part of the career series of Air Quality Specialist Trainee, and Air Quality Specialist I, II, and III.
