SLO County being impacted by dust & smoke

11/1/2019

San Luis Obispo County is being impacted by PM10 particulate pollution transported into San Luis Obispo County from the San Joaquin Valley and PM2.5 smoke impacts from wildfires. The AQI may be in the Moderate range (Yellow) or Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups range (Orange) at times from an increase in particulate matter and ozone. The public is advised to consult your doctor if you are experiencing health problems. The forecasted Air Quality Index (AQI) is representative of pollution exposure for a 24-hour period. Current conditions may be different from the 24-hour forecast.
