The APCD’s Engine Emission Reduction Incentive Program (EERIP) provides funding on a first-come-first-served basis to help pay for projects that reduce heavy-duty diesel engine emissions prior to any regulatory requirement. Projects can receive up to $150,000 per applicant, per calendar year under this incentive program as long as the project remains within the current cost effectiveness limits of the program.
Funding is currently not available for all eligible project types in this program. Applications will be accepted upon Board approval at its January 28, 2015 hearing. Once funding is approved, applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis, and projects will be funded first-come, first-served based on the date the application is deemed complete by the APCD. The links at the bottom of this page will take you to the Program Overview (please read this for additional details about the program) and the grant applications for the various project types. Applications must be submitted with original signature (no electronic submittals).
