The State Air Resources Board is offering FREE compliance classes in San Luis Obispo in March and June. All classes listed below will be held at the APCD office at 3433 Roberto Court in San Luis Obispo.
On Saturday, May 12, 2012, the APCD will participate in the 1st Annual Nature Festival at the Lopez Lake Recreation Area. The Nature Festival will be a great opportunity for families and individuals to experience the beautiful spring season and wildlife while enjoying numerous activies such as live music, ECO-Fair, clinics and demonstrations, local food vendors, prize drawings, free nature boat cruises and guided hikes.
May is bike month! Bike month is a local and national celebration to get people out of cars and onto two wheels throughout the month of May. This community event gets bigger and better every year. Click here for more information on Bike Month festivities and how you can get involved.
On Saturday, April 14, 2012 the APCD participated in Children’s Day in the Plaza at Mission Plaza in SLO. The purpose of this event was to bring education, fun and families together with community resources.
APCD, SLO Car Free, and C5 are expanding their partnership with Cal Poly and participated in this year’s Open House on April 13th.
APCD participated in the 2012 Earth Day celebration which was held Sunday, April 22 at El Chorro Regional Park. “Get Down to Earth” was the theme for this year’s event. The APCD was a sponsor of this event. To find out more about Get Down to Earth, visit http://earthdayalliance.com.
