APCD Partners on Teddy Bear Donation!

For the second year in a row, APCD collaborated with SLO Blues Baseball on the Double-Play Teddy Bear Sponsorship. For every double play that occurred throughout the season, two teddy bears, complete with a shirt donning the APCD logo on the back, were provided to children at the Sierra Vista Emergency Room. One bear will also be given to a lucky fan every time the Blues turn a double play at home and will be available for fans to purchase in the stadium gift store. This campaign resulted in 80 teddy bears delivered to the hospital in September by representatives from the APCD and SLO Blues Baseball. Through this sponsorship, the APCD hopes to link the health benefits of active transportation and clean air with an all-American pastime favorite: baseball.
